Hi, my name is Gudrun ( Pronounced 'good-rune'. I know, it's a tricky one, but I really like the meaning: God's secret lore). I was born and raised in Germany.

After pursuing my career in the financial sector for several years,
I became a mum - 
                   and life changed...!

Having had the chance to step back and look at my life from a different angle, 
I decided that I wanted to work with people, instead of their money.

To cut a long story short - that's when I started to look into massage . Not knowing whether I would like it, 
I signed up for my first massage course. Well, as it turned out this was not only something I seemed to be quite good at -
I also LOVED it!

I continued my training and opened my first massage studio – now being able to offer my clients something they
could really enjoy and look forward to. And what better reward is there than seeing your clients leave with a big smile on their
face?!! Just wondering how hard it must be to be a dentist...

In 2006 me and my family embarked on another big change in our life, and moved to New Zealand - for me one of the best countries
in the world! We looked for a place to live - and found Eastbourne. What a great location: nice community, great beach, awesome bush,
lovely cafés and the capital city on our doorstep!
That is where I reopened my massage studio - in the back of my garden, surrounded by lavender and just a minute from the beach.
( It has since moved a few streets further, and is now located right at the waterfront!)

I continued my massage training at the New Zealand College of Massage (NZCM), and I am now certified in Germany and NZ. 
And because I love massage, I can't help adding to my tool box - I just got back from another training this weekend. 
It won't be the last one...
