I just came back from yet another busy weekend: A further training in myofascial release.
Myofascial release is a very gentle and highly effective technique to release the connective tissue that holds the body in dysfunctional postural patterns. Sustained pressure and stretches are used to release restricted fascia around muscles, helping to restore optimal functioning and movement.
The good thing about bodywork trainings is, that I get a lot of treatment myself! So I could not only see some great reactions in my trainings partner's body, but could feel some quite good shifts within my own body, too. Myofascial release will be another great tool in my toolbox: gentle, powerful and relaxing. I am really looking forward to using it...
